Message
Negative tests should not be repeated for at least 7 days. Positive tests should not be repeated for at least 14 days. This is not to be used as a test of cure. This test is not to be used for children under 2 years of age.

"Stool must be soft or liquid. Formed stool is unacceptable for testing.
Testing Frequency: Daily 9AM through 2PM"

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Stability: 5 days Refrigerated


Methodology
PCR detection of C. difficile toxin and determination of NAP-1 strain presence in positive specimens.
