Reference Range
0-7 days | 0.6-11.1 mg/dL
7 days-1 month | 0.3-0.7 mg/dL
1 month-1 year | 0.2-0.4 mg/dL

Female: | 0.6-1.0 g/dL |
Clinical Significance
Creatinine is eliminated from blood by glomerular filtration. Reduced renal function results in an increased serum creatinine concentration. Measurement of serum creatinine is used to diagnose and monitor acute and chronic renal disease and estimate glomerular filtration rate.
