(any quantity)



Instructions

Collect following standard procedures including nasal endoscopy
or sinus puncture and aspiration



Report Available

Negative result in 3-4 days. Positive results depend on the
extent of organism workup



Limitations

This culture does not detect Bordetella pertussis,
Corynebacterium diptheriae, or viruses. Contact the laboratory for
ordering instructions if these pathogens are suspected.
